College House, where the Institut’s youngest students live, is its own small world. A lively group of primary school personalities grow up with one another, learning social competence in the best sense. Parents are always surprised how confidently and independently their children go about their way in the boarding school. Of course there are also times when a caregiver needs to hold a small hand. Step by step they help their charges to grow from individual „shepherding“ towards independence.
Parental cooperation and long weekends at home create a basis of trust and help to master the early years. Looking back, alumni often recall their days at College House as their „happiest time“.
