Success -- what a lovely feeling! Because each and every one of our Abitur candidates have successfully passed the German ‚Abitur‘ held in-house at our school! Congratulations! And their parents, grandparents, friends and relatives have already enjoyed the Abitur celebration in a dignified setting.
Several of our Graduates still have A-level exams to do, and we are keeping our fingers crossed for them. These are demanding tests requiring their full concentration, and far be it from us to make them jittery by praising them prematurely! With the graduates who obtained the HSD, however, we have already been able to celebrate the end of their school days.
Next and soon to start are the Italian Matura exams, for the so-called ‚Esame di stato‘. The candidates are at present still revising, reviewing, cramming, and brushing up for Day X, when hopefully everything will run smoothly for them.
And we, the school, are looking on with „one eye laughing and the other crying“, as we say in German. Good to know that the successful candidates will be able to start at university soon. But sad that we shall no longer be able to have them with us every day! Our best and heartfelt wishes accompany all, and we are already looking forward to them coming to visit the Rosenberg from time to time!
